About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Recruit, hire, and develop a team of strategists and analysts
  • Set strategic direction, standards, and delivery methodology for the portfolio strategy, analytics, insights, and consulting practice
  • Manage performance, career development, and capacity planning across a distributed team
  • Build repeatable frameworks, tools, and playbooks to scale delivery quality
  • Identify portfolio rationalization, consolidation, expansion, and geographic repositioning opportunities
  • Oversee portfolio assessments covering location strategy, space utilization, lease expirations, occupancy costs, and operational efficiency
  • Own analytics from data infrastructure and modeling through executive-ready outputs
  • Direct complex portfolio data analysis and benchmarking against industry standards
  • Lead market insights, benchmarking, strategic planning workshops, and executive presentations
  • Advise clients on high-priority portfolio decisions and translate real estate concepts for C-suite stakeholders
  • Represent JLL's portfolio strategy and analytics capabilities in pitches, RFPs, and capability presentations
  • Develop case studies and thought leadership content
  • Coordinate with JLL Technologies on digital solutions and data platforms
  • Contribute to research publications, white papers, and service innovation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, Urban Planning, or related field
  • 10-15 years of experience in corporate real estate strategy, portfolio management, real estate consulting, or related advisory roles, including direct people management
  • Demonstrated experience building, leading, and developing teams
  • Proven track record developing and implementing portfolio strategies for clients with complex, multi-location portfolios
  • Deep understanding of corporate real estate concepts including location strategy, portfolio optimization, and workplace strategy
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience developing financial models, scenario analyses, and data-driven recommendations
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence C-suite executives and build consensus
  • Experience creating executive-level deliverables including strategic plans, business cases, and board presentations
  • Experience leading or significantly contributing to new business pitches and capability presentations
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
  • Experience supporting RFP responses and business development activities
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
