About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Set up and maintain project files, folders, templates, records, meeting minutes, agendas, reports, action items, and project documentation
  • Track project hours and forecast utilization relative to assignment
  • Assist with project closeout, including reports, lessons learned, client reports, surveys, punch lists, warranty documents, OMs, and as-builts
  • Independently design and manage medium-sized furniture projects up to 30–50k SF
  • Assist Senior Project Manager or Vice President with larger programs and projects
  • Review scopes, develop furniture drawings and specifications, and perform QA/QC for procurements
  • Identify scope gaps, risks, and impacts
  • Make finish and furniture selections aligned with design intent, applications, and budget
  • Write furniture and workplace equipment specifications
  • Assemble digital design packages
  • Coordinate furniture selections with architecture teams, clients, architects, and furniture dealers
  • Provide value engineering options
  • Inventory and document existing furniture and equipment
  • Create furniture space plans using AutoCAD and/or CET
  • Manage FF&E matrices
  • Coordinate RFP mock-ups, field verifications, dealer drawing approvals, order sequencing, order tracking, installation schedules, and punch-list walk-throughs
  • Issue purchase orders with client approval and provide invoicing backup deliverables
  • Develop and track project schedules, budgets, status reports, approvals, open items, risks, and milestones
  • Interact with clients, resolve routine client issues, document meetings, and communicate complex messages clearly
  • Support client staff during move coordination, including purging, packing, labeling, check-outs, and unpacking
  • Participate in internal improvement activities and team-building exercises
  • Identify skill-development needs and seek training
  • Support business development, proposal attachments, vendor relationships, networking, and communication of JLL’s services
  • Travel as needed based on project assignment
  • Provide on-site oversight during installations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Office Suite skills
  • Strong AutoCAD skills (required)
  • Strong CET skills (preferred)
  • Microsoft Publisher or similar (preferred)
  • Adobe Suite skills (InDesign preferred)
  • Furniture BOM and specifications understanding (required)
  • Ability to read architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts
  • Knowledge of construction, design, furniture and/or commercial real estate industry
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with executive level internal & external clients
  • Organizational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, preferred in Interior design or Architecture
  • 5-7 years of design, project or furniture related experience in a Corporate Real Estate environment, architectural firm, or furniture dealership
  • Background in project management, construction/furniture management, interior design or project strategy planning is required
  • Experience independently leading small to mid-size projects required
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
