About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and lead retail construction projects from inception to completion
  • Ensure high-quality delivery within agreed timelines and budgets
  • Build relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members
  • Lead and motivate project teams and foster collaboration
  • Develop project plans, track progress, and identify and mitigate risks and issues
  • Track project finances, maintain budget adherence, and provide cost forecasts
  • Implement quality control measures for project deliverables
  • Identify process enhancements and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support delivery of challenging retail projects for a financial services client
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain effective communication throughout delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in project management, preferably in the real estate or construction industry
  • Proficiency in project management software, including Microsoft Projects and Bluebeam
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to travel for project-related meetings and site visits, as needed
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Experience working in a global and matrixed organization
  • Knowledge of industry-specific building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards
  • Familiarity with digital tools and technologies in project management
  • Experience leading projects within financial services, specifically retail banking
  • Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
  • Experience with retail construction project delivery
  • Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and process enhancement
  • Knowledge of quality control measures and client expectation management
  • ATM and Signage Experience a plus
