About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide strategic leadership and operational governance across Telstra Global Property commercial and retail portfolios
Ensure contracted Workplace Services comply with the Master Services Agreement, Scope of Work, service levels, KPIs, and governance requirements
Lead workplace experience, facilities management, asset management, financial management, procurement, helpdesk, compliance, risk management, reporting, and vendor management services
Lead facilities management across corporate offices, regional hubs, depots, warehouses, storage facilities, and retail stores
Maintain retail locations to operational, presentation, security, compliance, and customer experience standards
Oversee facilities management, building services, asset management, maintenance programs, lifecycle planning, condition assessments, and operational compliance
Hold executive accountability for Help Desk performance, service requests, customer communications, escalations, SLAs, and maintenance response and resolution times
Lead asset lifecycle planning, capital forecasting, condition audits, asset register governance, optimization strategies, operational planning, procurement, maintenance planning, and budget development
Maintain executive oversight of HSSE obligations, emergency management, business continuity, essential safety measures, asbestos management, contractor management, and statutory compliance
Ensure accurate and timely reporting, management information systems, data quality, governance, audit, and document management
Lead procurement, vendor governance, subcontractor management, contract renewals, tender processes, and supplier performance
Deliver commercial outcomes through budget management, forecasting, accruals, variance reporting, financial controls, productivity initiatives, and business reviews
Drive technology adoption, innovation, automation, data analytics, and workplace transformation
Collaborate across Facilities Management, Projects, Workplace Experience, Engineering, Property, Sustainability, Procurement, and Corporate Functions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business, Property, Commerce, or a related discipline
Minimum 10 years' experience in senior facilities management, workplace services, property, or operational leadership roles
Proven experience managing large, multi-site commercial and retail portfolios
Demonstrated responsibility for major outsourced service delivery contracts with accountability for financial, operational, and contractual performance
Experience leading large geographically dispersed teams and vendor networks
Strong knowledge of asset management, workplace services, procurement, compliance, risk management, and contractor governance
Proven track record of delivering KPI, SLA, customer satisfaction, and financial outcomes
Significant experience managing complex stakeholder environments and executive client relationships
