About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the entire sales solution process from prospecting through implementation
  • Build custom solutions and staffing models for engineering and integrated IFM opportunities in the UK/I
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to develop winning proposals
  • Manage RFP processes and client negotiations
  • Maintain competitive intelligence and market knowledge
  • Partner with sector leadership, Growth and Value, Operations, functional experts, and marketing to generate and solution opportunities
  • Coordinate staffing models, savings glide paths, technology offerings, and client outcomes
  • Develop tailored M&E value propositions and solutions for prospective clients
  • Identify and engage internal subject matter experts throughout the client journey
  • Share best practices and pursuit knowledge across the sales and solutions function
  • Keep current with organisational systems, processes, documentation, procedures, and technology capabilities
  • Track prospective-client solution status using systems such as Salesforce
  • Coordinate overall solution development and own the pro forma during RFP negotiations
  • Partner with legal and commercial teams to ensure pricing and bid details reach final agreements
  • Identify additional sales and growth opportunities during RFP processes
  • Participate in client-facing yellow pads, site tours, and integrated solution development
  • Develop a pipeline of key prospects, prospect for net-new business, and generate pipeline of 4x GAP revenues in a rolling 12 months
  • Qualify opportunities and develop solutions targeting win rates above 40% for new business, 80% for expansions, and 95% for renewals
  • Leverage pursuit data to develop competitive and market intelligence
  • Follow and improve sales processes, protocols, training, and technology
  • Provide input into service-line products, pricing methodology, and future sales trends
  • Participate in monthly pipeline calls
  • Coordinate Solutions Team, Business Development Managers, and Pricing Managers to project-manage solutions, responses, and presentations
  • Coordinate solution resources across geographies and ensure financially viable offerings
  • Communicate with transition teams and account management to facilitate operational hand-off
  • Support account mobilisation and maintain client and stakeholder communications
  • Build technical M&E solutions for enterprise-level clients, including organisational design and transition and stabilisation planning
  • Create proposed organisational structures for technical M&E solutions
  • Identify and mitigate risks and opportunities in pricing, mobilisation, and delivery
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for technical M&E services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10–15 years of M&E and IFM solution selling experience
  • Experience in complex environments with >£5m annual GAP value
  • Proven track record exceeding £1M CI in annual sales and GAP revenues over £10m
  • Experience building custom solutions and staffing models for engineering and integrated IFM opportunities in the UK/I
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and developing winning proposals
  • Experience managing RFP processes and client negotiations
  • Knowledge of competitive intelligence and market conditions
  • Financial knowledge covering portfolio cost modelling, financial pricing models, and operational costings
  • Technical M&E solution-selling experience across small-site portfolios, critical environments, and campus environments
  • Ability to use sales systems and technology such as Salesforce
  • Ability to develop enterprise-level technical M&E solutions, organisational designs, and transition and stabilisation plans
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks and opportunities in pricing, mobilisation, and delivery
  • Ability to develop go-to-market strategies for technical M&E services
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a high-paced, high-volume, dynamic, target-driven environment
