About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the entire sales solution process from prospecting through implementation
  • Build custom solutions and staffing models for engineering and integrated IFM opportunities in the UK/I
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to develop winning proposals
  • Manage RFP processes and client negotiations
  • Maintain competitive intelligence and market knowledge
  • Partner with sector leadership, Growth and Value, Operations, functional and technical subject matter experts, marketing, legal, Commercial, transition, and account management teams
  • Develop staffing models, savings glide paths, technology offerings, financial models, pricing, operational costings, and client outcomes
  • Identify, engage, and coordinate internal subject matter experts throughout the client journey
  • Ensure tailored, competitive, financially viable solutions for each qualified prospective client
  • Own or support RFP deliverables, site tours, integrated solutions, business planning, and client presentations
  • Develop a realistic pipeline, actively prospect, and drive net-new business opportunities
  • Qualify opportunities and leverage data from prior pursuits to develop competitive intelligence
  • Follow and improve sales processes, protocols, training, and technology
  • Provide input into service-line products, pricing methodology, future trends, and tactics
  • Participate in monthly pipeline calls and share best practices
  • Coordinate Solutions Team, Business Development Managers, and Pricing Managers to create solutions, responses, and presentations
  • Support account mobilisation, operational hand-off, client communications, and stakeholder coordination
  • Build technical M&E solutions for enterprise clients, including organisational design, transition, and stabilisation planning
  • Identify and mitigate risks and opportunities in pricing, mobilisation, and delivery
  • Develop go-to-market strategies with clients for technical M&E services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10–15 years of M&E and IFM solution selling experience in complex environments
  • Experience with opportunities exceeding £5m annual GAP value
  • Proven track record exceeding £1M CI in annual sales and GAP revenues over £10m
  • Experience building custom solutions and staffing models for engineering and integrated IFM opportunities in the UK/I
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and developing winning proposals
  • Experience managing RFP processes and client negotiations
  • Strong competitive intelligence and market knowledge
  • Ability to achieve win rate targets of >40% for new business, >80% for expansions, and >95% for renewals
  • Ability to develop staffing models, savings glide paths, technology offerings, and client outcomes
  • Ability to communicate technical and non-technical solutions clearly and succinctly
  • Financial expertise in portfolio cost modelling, financial pricing models, and operational costings
  • Knowledge of systems, processes, technology capabilities, and the solutions cycle
  • Knowledge of WPM UK/I business structure, model, and market changes
  • Proficiency with sales systems such as Salesforce
  • Ability to develop and manage a pipeline of 4x GAP revenues in a rolling 12 months (+£40m annually)
  • Ability to work with Operations, legal, Commercial, subject matter experts, marketing, transition, and account management teams
  • Technical M&E understanding and experience selling technical M&E solutions into small-site portfolio, critical, or campus environments
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks and opportunities in pricing, mobilisation, and delivery
  • Ability to develop go-to-market strategies for technical M&E services
