About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute comprehensive facilities management strategies aligned with client business objectives and organizational goals
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs across multiple properties
- Manage vendor relationships and service contracts, including performance evaluations and negotiations
- Lead capital improvement projects from conception through completion, including scope development, budgeting, contractor selection, and quality assurance
- Monitor and analyze facilities budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits, identify risks, and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with property management, engineering, sustainability, and client stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety, environmental, and building-code regulations
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership and clients on facilities performance, project status, and strategic recommendations
- Lead cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and use data analytics to optimize building performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related experience
- 6+ years of progressive experience in facilities management, with at least 2+ years in leadership capacity
- Proven track record managing large-scale facilities operations and multi-million dollar budgets
- Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and building automation systems
- Demonstrated expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, and service level agreement oversight
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
- Proficiency in CMMS/work order systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
