About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage delivery of facilities services to an assigned portfolio of retail bank branches and cafes
  • Act as the primary client contact regarding operations
  • Oversee facility managers and their day-to-day operations, performance, upkeep, issues, and escalations
  • Monitor vendor management activities, scope changes, and poor-performance documentation
  • Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC, security systems, point-of-sale equipment, ATMs, and other critical infrastructure
  • Develop and implement programs and processes to reduce operating costs and increase operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, food safety, environmental, and risk-management policies
  • Support compliance reviews, health inspections, audits, and training programs
  • Drive benchmarking, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate engagement between facility managers and internal teams and identify JLL subject matter experts
  • Develop and manage senior-level client relationships and ensure contract requirements and KPIs are met
  • Oversee operating budgets, forecasting, financial reporting, vendor payments, cost savings, and contractual authorities
  • Lead recruitment, coaching, mentoring, training, performance reviews, and development planning for facility managers
  • Provide strategic direction as a senior member of the facilities leadership team and model JLL's core values

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
  • Relevant certifications and industry designations preferred (i.e., LEED, CFM, FMP, or food service/hospitality management certifications)
  • 7+ years of leadership in a facility management environment, including at least 3 years managing other facility managers who oversee retail, banking, or hospitality facilities
  • Proven experience managing remote teams and facility managers across multiple time zones and geographic regions
  • Ability to travel up to 30% to visit locations across the portfolio and support facility managers
  • Proficiency in a range of information technology tools and platforms
  • Strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking ability, and problem-solving capability, particularly in customer-facing environments
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills with ability to interface with senior client stakeholders
  • Proven record of developing high-performing facility management teams and providing excellent internal and external customer service in retail or hospitality settings
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
