About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute project-specific and client-driven goals, schedules, budgets, strategy, and detailed assumptions
  • Establish and maintain project goals and success criteria meeting JLL and client needs
  • Build and maintain rapport with client representatives and understand project scope, deliverables, performance standards, and relevant criteria
  • Coordinate due diligence efforts and maintain and deliver appropriate documentation
  • Develop detailed project budgets using historical and market data
  • Act as the primary client contact throughout the project
  • Guide clients and teams through conceptual, schematic, design development, construction documentation, and signoff
  • Develop and maintain Master Project Schedules and manage project execution within intended timeframes
  • Prepare RFPs for vendor and contractor services and manage vendor and contractor selection
  • Develop procedures for project and service distribution, receipt, opening, leveling, and award
  • Facilitate critical project meetings and coordination with internal staff, stakeholders, and external users
  • Manage project performance against schedules, milestones, and critical path items across multiple projects
  • Manage vendor and project team performance for contractual, regulatory, and client compliance
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate liabilities and risks; report concerns to the Management Committee and Region Manager
  • Contribute to JLL best-practice and standards-of-excellence refinement
  • Keep the Director of Project Management informed of project, internal, and client issues affecting firm reputation
  • Maintain accounts receivable within planned working-capital limits
  • Perform other duties and tasks assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management in the real estate or construction industry
  • Proficiency in project management software
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams, ensuring high levels of engagement and performance
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must live in or be willing to occasionally commute to Huntsville, AL or Camden, AR
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
