About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Embed with marketing SMEs across campaigns, property marketing, content production, social, ABM, and performance intelligence
  • Design and ship production AI agents that perform real marketing work
  • Build, deploy, and operate marketing AI agents using regional context, brand guidelines, and intent data
  • Invoke tools to draft content, configure campaigns, monitor performance, and recommend optimizations
  • Design and grow a reusable Marketing Domain Skills Library of composable LLM workflows
  • Build integrations with CMS, DAM, CRM, marketing automation, advertising, and analytics platforms
  • Translate integration and capability gaps into prioritized requirements for the platform team
  • Own reliability, observability, evaluation, and cost efficiency of LLM-powered workflows
  • Implement brand-voice checks, factual grounding, regression suites, and offline benchmarks in CI/CD
  • Design multi-agent orchestration patterns and escalation flows
  • Define the playbook from SME conversation to pilot to production agent
  • Represent MarTech Engineering to JLL leadership, customers, and the engineering community
  • Publish internal write-ups, engineering blog posts, and conference talks
  • Stay current with agent engineering and improve quality, performance, and architecture at scale
  • Drive innovation on complex technical problems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient in English, written and verbal
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience working in production systems
  • Significant experience integrating enterprise APIs, including CRMs, CMSes, DAMs, ad platforms, marketing automation tools, and analytics
  • Hands-on experience with modern LLM APIs, prompt engineering, tool use/function calling, structured outputs, and context engineering
  • Experience designing agent systems, including multi-step reasoning, tool orchestration, memory, error recovery, and human-in-the-loop escalation paths
  • Experience with hallucination grounding, tool reliability, evals, cost and latency tradeoffs, prompt drift, and production agent reliability
  • Experience building RAG systems, embeddings, vector stores, retrieval optimization, and grounding
  • Experience deploying LLM-powered services or agents to production cloud environments
  • Understanding of authentication, networking, secrets, observability, rollback, and cost monitoring
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate in dynamic, product-focused, distributed teams
  • Proactive problem-solving approach and willingness to acquire new skills
  • Ability to own projects from start to finish
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
