About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute sourcing strategies and procurement programs across hard, soft, and specialised FM services categories
- Manage end-to-end sourcing processes, including RFx development, vendor engagement, evaluation, negotiation, and contract award
- Conduct market research, supply market analysis, spend analysis, and cost benchmarking
- Develop RFI, RFP, and RFQ documentation with technical specifications, pricing schedules, evaluation criteria, and commercial terms
- Lead vendor evaluations, reference checks, and financial analysis
- Negotiate supplier contract terms and pricing
- Identify cost savings and value improvement opportunities
- Manage supplier performance and contract compliance
- Build relationships with account teams, operations, finance, clients, and procurement/facilities teams
- Advise stakeholders and clients on FM services procurement matters
- Present sourcing outcomes, recommendations, and business cases
- Facilitate workshops and requirements-gathering sessions
- Manage client and vendor escalations
- Support bid development with sourcing expertise, market intelligence, and cost modelling
- Develop sourcing strategies and value propositions for new business opportunities
- Contribute to transition planning, supplier assessment, contract novation/transfer, and quick-win identification
- Prepare procurement reports covering activity, savings, supplier performance, and risk management
- Maintain sourcing, supplier agreement, and procurement decision records
- Ensure compliance with JLL and client procurement policies and governance requirements
- Support procurement dashboards and reporting tools
- Conduct business impact analysis and develop supply chain risk mitigation strategies
- Monitor supply market dynamics and emerging risks
- Consider continuity planning in sourcing strategies and supplier selection
- Contribute to sourcing methodologies, templates, and tools
- Share knowledge and support junior team members with coaching and guidance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Business/Commerce degree or equivalent tertiary qualification
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, and negotiation
- At least 2-3 years in an FM services procurement or IFM sourcing role
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end sourcing activities across multiple categories
- Experience developing RFx documentation, leading evaluations, and negotiating supplier contracts
- Demonstrated ability to work with multiple clients or accounts simultaneously
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management
- Professional procurement certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent)
- Experience in risk management within a procurement or supply chain context
- Exposure to bid and tender processes from a sourcing perspective
