About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, test, implement, customize, integrate, and maintain geospatial applications, Intelli-Fiber platform functionality, and related systems
- Use ArcGIS and other GIS technologies to generate, maintain, update, and enhance spatial data, mapping systems, and project databases
- Support DevOps, change management, and service management processes, including code deployment, issue resolution, and user support
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Ensure reliability, security, and performance of supported applications and systems
- Collaborate with project teams to evaluate requirements, develop solutions, lead projects as needed, and deliver business objectives
- Stay current on emerging GIS and mapping technologies
- Promote continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and user training
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a related field
- Experience with software development methodologies and application lifecycle management
- Understanding of large-scale system integration concepts and technical architectures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate across teams
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment
