About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate permitting activities across multiple active projects, ensuring adherence to permit schedules and timely submission of complete permit packages
  • Track permit status, supplemental information, approvals, and as-built staking sheet submissions while maintaining accurate permitting records and documentation
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with municipal, county, and state agencies regarding permit applications, inquiries, and compliance requirements
  • Monitor regulatory changes and collaborate with project engineers, designers, and internal teams to resolve permit-related issues and minimize project delays
  • Maintain organized digital and physical permitting files and ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and accessible
  • Provide regular permit status updates to project managers and leadership, identifying potential risks and recommending solutions to keep projects on schedule

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in permitting, construction coordination, project administration, or a related role
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, site plans, and technical documents
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Experience in the telecommunications, utility, or infrastructure industry preferred
