About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install CNC machine tool systems and all accessories at customer sites
- Troubleshoot and identify causes of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or application issues
- Coordinate resolutions and suggest repairs or replacements for CNC tools
- Provide on-site and remote support to customers, distributors, and colleagues
- Manage projects and deliver training as needed
- Assist with trade shows and service support as required
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of machine tool maintenance/technology experience, including electrical and mechanical experience
- 5+ years of installation/maintenance of machining centers, including CNC geometry checks and adjustments
- Experience with metal cutting machinery preferred
- 5+ years of remote technical support in the machine tool industry preferred
- Knowledge of PLC programming/troubleshooting, control systems, FANUC Controls, and power circuits
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related products
- OSHA-10 Certification in General Industry or Construction
- Willingness and ability to travel 100%, including overnight and occasional weekend trips
