About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor and analyze production and laboratory data to identify trends
  • Manage out-of-specification products, customer complaints, and root cause analyses
  • Monitor the calibration and adjustment of detectors and measuring instruments
  • Supervise the external cleaning team
  • Manage pest control activities
  • Prioritize personal safety and employee safety
  • Prepare monthly reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Optimize and standardize machine settings and operating parameters
  • Lead quality improvement projects and reject reduction initiatives
  • Maintain selected standards/specifications and related documentation up to date
  • Develop and deliver training to colleagues and employees
  • Serve as a point of contact between quality, production, and engineering
  • Identify opportunities for quality and productivity improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 3 years of quality management experience
  • 2 years of employee supervision experience
  • College diploma or university degree
  • Good knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and OneNote
  • Knowledge of Power BI and VBA is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 is an asset
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong observation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Good organizational and work planning skills
  • Ability to learn and master new knowledge and software applications
  • Team-oriented with a proactive and initiative-driven mindset
  • Proficiency in written and spoken French and English
  • Spanish is considered an asset
