About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical and disciplinary management of the Software Testing Electronic Components group
- Develop and expand the group, establish working methods and consolidate interfaces with other areas
- Create, control and optimize work processes within the team and in cooperation with other departments and divisions in the Group
- Plan, initiate and monitor costs, quality, capacities and deadlines of the group's sub-projects
- Prepare management summaries and support management in decision-making and concept development
- Collaborate technically in the ongoing development content of the team
- Observe technology trends in software testing
- Take responsibility for the continuous development of specialist knowledge within the group and transfer knowledge to other development areas
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in electrical engineering, computer science or mathematics or a comparable qualification
- Management experience for at least 3 years
- Experience in software testing
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus
- Pragmatic working style, team spirit, flexibility and a confident manner
- Very independent and structured way of working
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- German is a plus
