About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary administrator and owner of the identity governance platform
  • Oversee operational execution of IAM processes and ongoing maintenance, performance, and lifecycle management of identities using SailPoint IdentityIQ
  • Lead IAM initiatives and manage access governance workflows
  • Act as the technical subject matter expert for SailPoint
  • Support broader cybersecurity programs and incident response activities as necessary
  • Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, access reviews/changes, and policy enforcement using SailPoint
  • Maintain identity records and ensure timely onboarding/offboarding of hospital staff and third-party users
  • Administer the SailPoint platform, deliver user training, and provide support
  • Coordinate with vendors for issue resolution and product enhancements
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, PCI DSS, internal security policies, and external regulations
  • Conduct periodic access certifications and enforce least privilege and need-to-know principles
  • Support audits by providing IAM control documentation and evidence
  • Lead application onboarding into SailPoint
  • Develop and maintain RBAC models and segregation of duties rules
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for SailPoint processes, integrations, and configurations
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to resolve access issues
  • Contribute to incident response and assist with cyber threat analysis when required
  • Occasionally work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, for IAM incidents or critical upgrades

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience in the field
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with identity governance tools
  • Preferred experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ
  • Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, access certifications, entitlement reviews, and governance policies
  • Experience with or a strong understanding of directory services (Active Directory, Azure Active Directory)
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to IAM
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and work independently
  • Capable of critical thinking, making sound decisions, being detail oriented, alert, and self-motivated
  • Must complete annual Joint Commission mandatory education, in-service, and health requirements, including new employee orientation
  • Must maintain required professional licensing and/or certification(s)
