About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Remediate high-severity platform vulnerabilities
- Build hardened, CVE-near-free container base images across build and distribution pipelines
- Maintain and scale Kubernetes platforms
- Enforce admission control, security standards, and cluster governance using Kyverno
- Design and maintain highly available platform authentication using Keycloak and IdentityServer
- Automate repetitive business-as-usual operations using AI
- Build platform tooling with Python, Go, Terraform, Terragrunt, CloudFormation, and Ansible
- Drive AWS infrastructure operations, with GCP as a secondary cloud
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders
- Participate in an on-call rotation for incident response
Requirements
What you’ll need- Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes platform operations
- Experience with container hardening and Kyverno policy-as-code
- Proficiency in Python and Go
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, and CI/CD tools
- Experience with GitHub Workflows and ArgoCD
- Strong AWS cloud foundation
- Production experience with ECS, EKS, IAM, and Security Hub
- Practical experience with Keycloak or IdentityServer
- Solid Linux troubleshooting skills
- Experience managing vulnerability remediation workflows and minimal-CVE image pipelines
- Experience with GCP is an asset as a secondary cloud
- Proactive problem-solving and clear communication with cross-functional partners
