About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and grow the Delivery as a Service team within the Logistics Pillar
Oversee architectural design and technical implementation of solutions built by the engineering team
Contribute to significant product feature definition through workshops with engineering teams and Product Managers
Collaborate with Heads of Engineers and peers to define and communicate the domain technical roadmap
Define engineer goals and objectives and guide career development
Prioritize domain work with stakeholders and the Senior Technology Manager in line with commercial needs and Engineering Strategy
Own workstreams from requirements gathering through design and production support
Improve processes, designs, and engineering practices and share improvements across Engineering
Track progress toward domain goals and communicate updates to teams and Head of Engineering
Deploy and support changes through production
Communicate progress and share development practices, patterns, and standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience leading and developing teams of engineers using Event Driven Architecture
Experience delivering high quality software projects and driving best practices
Ability to work independently and solve complex problems
Experience with Amazon Web Services or similar cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud
Experience in an Agile environment, including Scrum or Kanban
Desire to coach engineers and drive a high performance culture
Successful background check required as a condition of employment
