About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Optimize supplier performance, cost efficiency, and resource utilization within the automotive industry
- Increase transparency into the financial impact of Change Requests and related supplier costs
- Review and optimize resource mix for efficient resource utilization
- Analyze delivery outcomes, quality, and productivity to assess supplier performance
- Challenge Change Requests covered by existing contractual scope
- Identify underperforming suppliers, roles, and non-critical System Integrator resources
- Strengthen supplier accountability for deliverables, quality, and delivery timelines
- Evaluate System Integrator capabilities versus alternative, cost-efficient suppliers
- Review sourcing strategies to improve cost efficiency and supplier value
- Leverage AI tools and data-driven insights for vendor management and decision-making
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify improvements and drive measurable business outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree (MSc) in Economics, Business Administration, or a related business discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to assess financial data, supplier performance, and resource utilization
- Experience in vendor management, supplier performance management, cost optimization, or a related consulting role
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to challenge existing practices and identify efficiency and cost-saving opportunities
- Full professional proficiency in English
- Experience in data analysis or a background as a data analyst preferred
- Extensive knowledge of Power BI and analytical tools preferred
- Experience using or developing AI tools and applying AI-driven insights preferred
- Experience with sourcing consultants and evaluating alternative sourcing models preferred
- Experience working with System Integrators, supplier contracts, Change Requests, and delivery accountability preferred
- Previous automotive industry experience is an advantage
