About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review project quotes and scopes before onsite execution
  • Inspect installation sites and study work orders, architectural plans, and installation methods
  • Install low voltage cabling, devices, and systems according to specifications, codes, and industry practices
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with installed systems
  • Conduct routine system maintenance and inspections
  • Respond to service calls and customer inquiries
  • Travel extensively, mostly within the Midwest, including occasional weekends; home most weekends
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain customer satisfaction
  • Deliver fundamental customer training on system operations
  • Execute projects independently and collaboratively

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Hands-on/field experience from previous work experience
  • Working knowledge of basic IT networking, configurations and IP addressing
  • Ability to read architectural drawings
  • Team management/supervisor experience
  • Previous experience completing projects within scope
  • Previous experience with service ticketing processes
  • Previous knowledge in fire, CCTV, intrusion, or emergency nurse call systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must have valid US Driver’s license
