About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the successful delivery of ERP implementation and customer software enhancement projects for SME-market clients
- Manage implementations, integrations, third-party solutions, and software development projects
- Liaise with New Customer Acquisition and Customer Account Management teams to clarify solutions
- Identify and escalate gaps between sold solutions, customer expectations, and delivery requirements
- Arrange and chair internal and customer project kick-off meetings
- Create and maintain project plans, including phases, deliverables, milestones, dependencies, and acceptance points
- Plan and coordinate resources across consultancy, engineering, development, training, support, and third-party providers
- Coordinate third-party solutions, integrations, and bespoke software development
- Ensure customer decisions, information, data, and actions are provided by required dates
- Monitor dependencies across ERP, development, infrastructure, managed services, and external suppliers
- Maintain project documentation, including project plans, RAID logs, action logs, decision logs, change logs, and status reports
- Identify, assess, manage, and escalate risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies
- Establish project tolerances and promptly escalate exceptions
- Maintain project governance, customer satisfaction, and effective resource utilisation throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience managing software implementation projects
- Strong project planning and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing software development, integrations, and third-party solutions
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Process-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence
