SaaS Product Lead
K3 Advisory Group. Own AdvantageIQ's P&L, including revenue, gross margin, CAC, LTV, churn, expansion, and ARR .
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own AdvantageIQ's P&L, including revenue, gross margin, CAC, LTV, churn, expansion, and ARR
- Define product strategy and pricing
- Lead go-to-market activities with the Growth function
- Define and monitor customer-success onboarding health
- Manage partnerships with source-system vendors, advisors, and embedded finance platforms
- Own the three-year product strategy and annual refresh
- Develop and secure agreement on the product roadmap and priorities
- Oversee delivery and development with the engineering team
- Ensure quality of output and service integrity
- Act as the internal voice of AdvantageIQ in leadership meetings
- Report commercial and product health monthly
- Coach advisory and consulting teams on positioning and cross-selling AdvantageIQ
- Contribute to webinars, whitepapers, and conference panels on AI-driven finance, board reporting, and exit preparation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrable ownership of revenue targets, ideally with P&L responsibility within a SaaS environment
- Experience owning a live SaaS product through a full commercial lifecycle
- Track record working with a dedicated engineering team, including backlog writing, scope negotiation, release planning, accepting or rejecting trade-offs, and defending priorities with evidence
- Comfortable interacting with business owners and senior staff
- Experience defining and delivering analytical products combining data from multiple operational and financial systems
- Experience working within a SaaS environment
- Comfortable with technology delivery-team disciplines
- Familiarity with launching AI-enabled features in a commercial SaaS environment, including governance, hallucination risk, explainability, model monitoring, and user adoption
- Knowledge of management information packs, board reporting, consolidation, KPI reporting, forecasting, and transaction readiness
- Qualified accountant knowledge is advantageous but not essential; desirable qualifications include ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ACMA, or equivalent national qualification
- Commercial rigour with unit economics, payback, gross margin, and trade-offs
- Structured prioritisation using frameworks such as RICE, weighted scoring, or opportunity trees
- Clear written communication producing one-pagers, release notes, and customer memos
- Willingness to attend a CFO's month-end close once a quarter
- Ability to come into central London or Manchester 2–3 days per week
