About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and implement secure software solutions using C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, ASP.NET, and Visual Studio
  • Develop responsive front-end interfaces using JavaScript, EXT JS, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Build secure RESTful APIs, services, and modular components aligned with DoD cybersecurity and architecture standards
  • Administer, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases in controlled environments
  • Develop advanced T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and performance-tuned queries
  • Implement secure database schemas, access controls, auditing, and backup/recovery strategies compliant with DoD requirements
  • Apply DoD Secure Coding Guidelines, STIGs, and RMF controls throughout the development lifecycle
  • Participate in code reviews, threat modeling, and vulnerability remediation
  • Produce documentation for configuration management, accreditation packages, and government audits
  • Integrate Kiro AI capabilities into enterprise or mission-support applications
  • Collaborate with data science teams to embed AI-driven features while maintaining security and compliance
  • Work with cybersecurity, systems engineering, QA, and program management teams
  • Support deployment, testing, and sustainment activities within classified or controlled environments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active DoD Secret clearance required
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain additional program-specific accesses (e.g., SAP, CI polygraph) if required
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Eligible for a government-issued Secret-level clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Expert proficiency in C#, .NET, Visual Studio, and Microsoft development tools
  • Strong experience with SQL Server administration, performance tuning, and advanced T-SQL scripting
  • Demonstrated ability to build complex front-end applications using JavaScript and EXT JS
  • Experience developing software in compliance with DoD cybersecurity frameworks (RMF, STIGs, secure coding)
  • Experience working on classified systems or secure enclaves preferred
  • Experience integrating Kiro AI technologies strongly preferred
  • Eastern time zone applicants preferred
