About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own user access across all IT-administered applications, including provisioning, deprovisioning, role assignment, and least-privilege standards
- Manage joiner, mover, and leaver processes
- Maintain auditable access matrices and conduct quarterly access reviews
- Handle temporary elevated access, guest users, and cross-platform provisioning
- Own the renewal calendar and produce monthly seat utilization reports
- Maintain the authoritative application registry
- Configure, test, and troubleshoot Azure Entra ID SSO for supported applications
- Configure new applications, including user directory, SSO, MFA enforcement, and role structures
- Review vendor security documentation and govern shadow IT
- Manage vendor support relationships and triage platform issues
- Monitor critical platform health and notify stakeholders proactively
- Maintain the IT knowledge base and administration documentation
- Mentor the Junior Application Administrator
- Identify automation and process improvement opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years IT administration or application management experience in a 200+ user organization
- Access management across multiple SaaS platforms with consistent, auditable, least-privilege practices
- License management and renewal governance, including utilization tracking and renewal calendar ownership
- Hands-on SSO configuration and integration experience with Azure Entra ID, Okta, or equivalent
- Vendor support management for multiple platforms concurrently
- Excellent written and spoken English for stakeholder communication, technical documentation, and vendor interactions
- Salesforce ADM-201 preferred or working toward it
