About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct primary and secondary review of complicated or complex international tax returns
  • Facilitate planning, execution, direction, and completion of international tax projects across a wide variety of industries
  • Consult with clients on tax-efficient structuring of international transactions, effective use of tax treaties, offshore investment activity planning, and repatriation programs to minimize U.S. and foreign income taxes
  • Provide technical expertise and process knowledge to expand the line of business and develop professional staff

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS Accounting
  • MS Taxation
  • CPA
  • At least seven years of international tax experience in public accounting
  • Strong knowledge of foreign tax provisions
  • Compliance knowledge of 5471s, 5472s, FBAR filing, and FATCA
  • Team player and commitment to high-quality, detailed work
  • Self-starter with ability to deal with multiple priorities
  • Ability to deal with clients and a good “executive presence”
  • Strong computer skills and experience in a paperless environment
  • Proven engagement and staff management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with ability to interact with all levels of client management, referral sources, and other professionals
  • Fluent in Spanish
