About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform end-to-end portfolio fund accounting processes, including fund transactions, reconciliations, valuations, corporate action processing, and production of financial and investor statements
  • Prepare Net Asset Value workpapers and reports and performance reports for investment managers, investors, and third parties
  • Prepare financial statements, including statements of assets and liabilities, net asset value per share, operations, changes in shareholders’ equity, and cash flows
  • Ensure investments and securities are accounted for correctly across equities, fixed income, options, futures, private placements, private equity investments, and other derivatives
  • Collaborate directly with peers in the US

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Understanding of investments, securities, and financial markets
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle tasks quickly and accurately
  • Experience at a fund administrator, internal operations for a hedge or private equity fund, or as an auditor to hedge or private equity funds (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Bloomberg and Paxus (preferred)
  • Ability to work periodic overtime
