About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead Supplier Relations for KAYAK for Business
- Oversee the portfolio of global preferred supplier partners, including TMC, airline, rail, lodging, car rental, ground, expense, and payment partners
- Drive global growth through new partnerships and optimization and retention of existing partnerships
- Expand the value proposition and align the KAYAK for Business strategy for suppliers and other partnerships
- Design and lead travel partner evaluations, communications, and contracting
- Collaborate with partners and internal teams on commercial opportunities and strengthen strategic relationships
- Work with customers and internal collaborators to meet current and future content and functionality needs
- Collaborate with Business Development, Account Management, Product, and Marketing teams to achieve target goals
- Help determine and prioritize technology improvements to drive additional sales to key partners
- Work with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and supplier revenue reconciliation
- Report to the Senior Director, KAYAK for Business
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years in travel agency, distribution, payment, air/lodging/car/rail supplier or related fields
- Proven history of building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally
- Savvy and clear communicator, story teller and presenter to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Outstanding analytic skills to drive positive partnership results based on analysis
- Expert negotiator, developing creative solutions to problems or barriers
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced tech environment
- Recognized as a thought leader within the Travel Industry
- Experience in tech a major plus
- Strong business development and problem-solving skills coupled with a willingness to “roll up your sleeves”
- Experience working with global teams in multiple locations
- Must be able to work from the required office at least 3 days per week
- Must not require US visa sponsorship; KAYAK is unable to offer work sponsorship, including OPT, at this time
