About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own all aspects of sales and inventory forecasting for KAYALI within the Americas
  • Lead planning for the Americas business, including forecasting, stock management, and service delivery
  • Participate in the monthly S&OP process, representing demand signals and aligning Sales, Marketing, and Supply Planning
  • Track and report forecast accuracy and bias by SKU/category, identify root causes, and drive continuous improvement
  • Own and maintain demand planning systems and master data, including FuturMaster
  • Align demand forecasts with Finance planning cycles, including AOP, budget, and latest estimates
  • Lead monthly Demand Review overviews for Global Supply Chain and Demand Planning teams
  • Forecast inventory and maintain appropriate inventory levels using weeks of supply, sell-through, and trend analysis
  • Build sales/inventory launch planning models for expansion within the Americas
  • Build SKU-level demand forecasts for the next 24 months incorporating marketing, social media, and retailer activations
  • Maintain forecast changes and Risks & Opportunities
  • Co-create forecasts and buys with retail counterparts and align on monthly OTB forecasts
  • Build and manage obsolescence/liquidation strategies
  • Analyze retailer inventory and sales and maintain annual RTV budgets by retailer/brand
  • Develop relationships with cross-functional and cross-channel teams
  • Incorporate new trends into inventory planning with Global Supply Planning
  • Create forecast accuracy action plans across the organization
  • Manage the internal demand and inventory budget to support company sales targets and operating profits
  • Conduct scenario and what-if planning for promotions, new product launches, and seasonal demand shifts
  • Lead exception-based forecast reviews and revise forecasts for abnormal demand signals
  • Support NPI forecasting, including cannibalization and phase-in/phase-out analysis
  • Collaborate with Supply Planning to translate demand plans into feasible production and replenishment plans
  • Present demand planning insights and recommendations to senior leadership during the monthly S&OP cycle
  • Complete additional projects as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, Inventory Analysis, Merchandise Planning, Replenishment Analysis, Supply Chain Planner, or related field, ideally working in the beauty or FMCG space
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Statistics, Finance or related field
  • Sephora experience a plus
  • Experience with FuturMaster is an advantage
  • Ability to manage/mine data from multiple sources to create forecast, analyze, prepare statistical reports
  • Highly analytical with an aptitude for interpreting and utilizing data to improve and propose change
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to handle multiple priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, forecasting functions); experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau a plus
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders
  • Experience presenting to and influencing senior leadership and cross-functional partners
