About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation solutions for SAP S/4HANA and ECC projects
- Develop and maintain automated test cases in Tricentis Tosca
- Map and create Modules for SAP FIORI and SAP GUI interfaces
- Collaborate with business analysts and QA teams to understand requirements and test scenarios
- Configure and use test data management resources (TDM/TDS)
- Execute automation scripts, analyze results, report defects, and provide evidence to development teams
- Assist with the integration and execution of automated tests in CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor and report automation quality KPIs
- Participate in team ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
- Support the development team in building reliable software
- Execute tests according to the criticality of backlog fixes and enhancements
- Identify and document issues, bugs, and improvements
- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve issues
- Manage automation tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Robot, RestAssured, UFT One, and Tosca
- Work with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, and MongoDB
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience with test automation using Tricentis Tosca
- Knowledge of or experience with automation projects in the SAP ecosystem (ECC or S/4HANA)
- Strong knowledge of Tosca engines for automating web interfaces (SAP FIORI) and desktop interfaces (SAP GUI)
- Knowledge of Model-Based Test Automation methodology
- Knowledge of the Tosca structure (Modules, TestCases, ExecutionLists)
- Familiarity with automated testing in CI/CD pipelines, such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Preferred: Tricentis certifications, such as Automation Specialist 1
- Preferred: Basic knowledge of an SAP functional module (FI, SD, MM, etc.)
- Preferred: Experience with qTest
- Preferred: Basic knowledge of T-SQL for database querying and validation
- Preferred: Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Knowledge of and experience working with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, and MongoDB
