Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid, proven experience with COBOL, working on mission-critical systems
  • Strong hands-on experience with CICS and DB2
  • Proficiency in relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases
  • Experience creating, formatting, and executing unit and integration tests
  • Experience with code version control (Git) and mature CI/CD practices
  • Knowledge of DevOps, with a focus on automation, integration, and continuous improvement
  • Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and software design patterns
  • Ability to analyze legacy systems and propose technical and architectural enhancements
  • Practical experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Close collaboration with business, product, and technology teams
  • Act as a technical reference, supporting other developers and promoting best practices
  • Strong analytical skills and systems thinking
  • Proactive approach to creating robust, scalable, and sustainable solutions
  • High level of organization, autonomy, and ownership
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work in a team and interact with different departments
