About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Load and unload props, furniture, floral products, and event décor onto and off trucks
  • Install and uninstall portable bars, backdrops, lighting, ceiling décor, furniture, and other event elements
  • Prepare event materials for transport
  • Assemble and disassemble design elements
  • Collaborate with logistics, production, and design teams
  • Follow setup instructions and pull sheets accurately
  • Safely handle fragile and high-value items
  • Clean up event sites after events
  • Track hours and job assignments using internal systems
  • Mentor team members and model safe work practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Up to 1 year of experience in event setup preferred
  • Ability to understand, read, and speak English
  • Experience interpreting pull sheets and setup instructions
  • Comfortable using hand tools and operating ladders and lifts
  • Must provide own tools
  • Strong attention to detail and safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physically able to lift 30–50 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs. with assistance
  • Flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and out-of-town travel
  • Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and customer service focus
