About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop interactive self-study eLearning, virtual instructor-led training (vILT) and other modalities from approved design documents, storyboards and source content
  • Build slide decks, facilitator guides, participant guides, pre-work, job aids, evaluation surveys, knowledge checks and other measurement tools
  • Partner with Service Line Training Directors and content builders to enhance, complete and brand training materials
  • Create custom multimedia interactions and reusable learning solutions
  • Use generative AI and platform-embedded AI tools to create scripts, assessments, job aids, graphics and video while verifying quality and accuracy
  • Test new AI features and share findings with the Bonadio University team
  • Build CPE elements, review questions, polling and engagement elements, and final assessments according to NASBA/AICPA standards
  • Maintain course documentation, word counts, CPE calculations and assessment materials for CPE review and audit readiness
  • Quality-check deliverables for accessibility and firm brand compliance
  • Publish SCORM packages and test and maintain content in the LMS and related platforms
  • Build reusable templates, components and assets
  • Recommend improvements to the learning development toolkit
  • Translate approved designs into finished programs and recommend efficient, effective builds
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts and manage review cycles
  • Communicate content gaps, dependencies, risks and roadblocks
  • Manage multiple development projects, timelines, review cycles, version control and capacity
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in instructional design, learning and development, multimedia development, digital media or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two years of experience developing multimodal training materials for adult learners
  • Advanced development skills in Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise 360, including custom interactions
  • Strong digital media, multimedia and visual design capability
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications
  • Working knowledge of adult learning principles
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Polished, creative portfolio demonstrating current eLearning and digital media development standards
  • Portfolio including custom Storyline 360 interactions, Rise 360 development, instructor-led or virtual learning materials, assessment examples, and at least one before-and-after example
  • Applicants must identify portfolio elements substantially generated by AI and clarify their own contribution
  • Ability to work additional hours at peak times
  • Preferred: experience in professional services, accounting or a similar regulated environment
  • Preferred: familiarity with NASBA CPE standards and QAS self-study requirements
  • Preferred: advanced video editing, audio, motion animation or graphic design skills using After Effects, Premiere Pro, Camtasia or Vyond
  • Preferred: experience publishing and troubleshooting LMS content using SCORM or xAPI
  • Preferred: experience building materials for virtual classrooms in Microsoft Teams
  • Preferred: experience creating workflow-embedded learning, performance support or scalable learning products and systems
