About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead daily warehouse operations with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and customer service
Supervise, train, coach, schedule, and hold employees accountable
Monitor labor, timekeeping, attendance, inventory accuracy, and operational performance
Ensure compliance with company safety, OSHA, and applicable food safety requirements
Support incident investigations, audits, equipment needs, and process improvements
Maintain clear communication with employees, customers, and internal departments
Oversee daily warehouse activities at Keller Warehousing & Co-Packing's Defiance facility
Support employee development and help ensure customer expectations are met
Report to the Operations Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

Three to five years of warehouse leadership experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience with warehouse management systems, inventory, labor planning, and forklift operations
Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require
Ability to obtain required internal industrial truck and trainer certifications
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds independently or with assistance
Ability to work around powered equipment
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment
Ability to work in varying temperatures, noise levels, dust, fumes, and odors
