About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC equipment including RTUs, split systems, boilers, chillers, and heat pumps
- Complete scheduled maintenance and inspections to keep systems running efficiently and extend equipment life
- Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues across a range of HVAC platforms
- Replace or repair components such as motors, compressors, fans, and thermostats
- Read and work from wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer documentation
- Keep clients and team members informed on service findings and recommended next steps
- Maintain thorough service records covering work completed, parts used, and system conditions
- Perform all work in compliance with safety standards, applicable codes, and company policy
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC technical training or certification preferred
- 4+ years of experience in a commercial HVAC service role
- Hands-on experience with RTUs, VRV/VRF, VAV, split systems, chillers, boilers, and AHUs
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components
- EPA 608 Universal Certification required
- Ability to travel throughout the state of Colorado
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability
- Effective communicator with solid customer service instincts
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites
- NATE certification or equivalent preferred
- Experience with digital service tools or mobile work order platforms preferred
