About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC equipment, including RTUs, split systems, boilers, chillers, and heat pumps
  • Complete scheduled maintenance and inspections
  • Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues across HVAC platforms
  • Replace or repair motors, compressors, fans, thermostats, and other components
  • Read and work from wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer documentation
  • Keep clients and team members informed about service findings and recommended next steps
  • Maintain service records covering work completed, parts used, and system conditions
  • Perform work in compliance with safety standards, applicable codes, and company policy

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC technical training or certification preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in a commercial HVAC service role
  • Hands-on experience with RTUs, VRV/VRF, VAV, split systems, chillers, boilers, and AHUs
  • Solid understanding of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components
  • EPA 608 Universal Certification required
  • Ability to travel throughout the state of Colorado
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites
  • NATE certification or equivalent preferred
  • Experience with digital service tools or mobile work order platforms preferred
