About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide complete design, stock listing, and hydraulic calculations for industrial/manufacturing-focused fire protection pursuits
- Collaborate with the pre-construction team during bid pursuits
- Provide hydraulic calculations and layout assistance for pre-construction
- Manage design on multiple large industrial fire protection projects
- Work with the engineering team to obtain permitting and design approval
- Manage a fast-paced design environment on large projects
- Provide 3D BIM models
- Attend BIM coordination meetings
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and professional representation and responsiveness for prospects and customers
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- NICET Certification required
- 10 years’ experience in the fire protection field
- Strong ability to read and understand building plans and blueprints
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills
- Expert communication, writing, and documentation abilities
- Strong leadership qualities
- Elite time management skills
- Strong collaboration skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- NICET Level III certification preferred
- Must have valid Driver's License with clean record
- Proficient with HydraCAD, AutoSprink, Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel, and HASS
