About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work collaboratively with local and global Technology teams to design and develop new products
- Provide technical support for the existing product portfolio
- Perform thermal analysis of heat exchanger designs to evaluate performance and support product improvements
- Coordinate and manage global product transfers for technical alignment and successful implementation
- Work safely and lead with a safety mindset
- Work on product designs for Global Technology projects across all Kelvion products
- Generate engineering data and support integration into global selection software
- Complete engineering changes across multiple sites
- Represent Kelvion Technology to customers and at customer sites for collaborative projects
- Support the FAR lab facility, carry out testing, and write technical reports
- Support thermodynamic analysis of products
- Work to project timelines and deliver in a structured manner
- Manage own workstreams
- Complete prototype design stages and support improvements during initial manufacturing
- Ensure Kelvion’s Standard of Excellence, including quality, is incorporated into every product
- Follow company policies and procedures, including the Global Code of Business Principles, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Vision and Values, and Operational Framework
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proficiency in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
- Knowledge of heat exchangers, fluid dynamics, and HTRI Xace software
- Ability to collaborate in virtual global teams and work effectively across diverse cultures
- Ability to engage across a global matrix organization and support initiatives across regions
- Willingness to travel up to 10–20% of the time
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in thermal systems, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, or related product design and development
- Experience performing thermodynamic analysis and evaluating product performance
- Experience supporting prototype development, laboratory testing, data analysis, and technical report preparation
- Experience managing engineering workstreams, implementing engineering changes, and collaborating with manufacturing teams
- Ability to frequently stand and reach with hands, arms, and shoulders
- Ability to occasionally walk, sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear
- Ability to occasionally hand lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds
