About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform machine sub-assembly
- Perform machine assembly
- Install machines at customer sites
- Work across 1st, general, 2nd, and night shifts
Requirements
What you’ll need- ITI – Fitter Trade
- Engineering industry experience, preferably in Machine Tool Manufacturing
- 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience for ITI candidates in sub-assembly and assembly of Special Purpose Machines, VTLs, and Tool & Cutter Grinders
- Basic knowledge and exposure to machine sub-assemblies such as spindle, slide, column, feed drive, rotary tables, gear boxes, and work handling
- Hands-on scrapping experience
- Ability to understand part drawings, assembly drawings, and machine layout
- Knowledge of geometrical accuracies including straightness, squareness, concentricity, TIR, and parallelism
- Experience with measuring instruments
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, coolant systems, and circuits
- Basic knowledge of drills, taps, and metric and BSP size selection
- Fundamentals of safety and PPE
- Basic communication skills in Kannada
- English and Hindi preferred
