About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform maintenance functions on CNC equipment, manual lathes and grinders using relay logic
- Maintain plant support equipment, including compressors, pumps, and cooling tower/heat exchanger systems
- Perform plant and equipment preventive maintenance
- Prepare work areas by identifying and addressing safety issues before proceeding
- Diagnose and repair production equipment
- Clean up the area after performing maintenance functions
- Diagnose and repair plant support equipment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must have a maintenance-related certificate of education and/or willingness to attend a maintenance education program approved by supervisor
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a machine shop environment
- Must be able to perform machine repair safely and in a timely manner to reduce machine downtime
- Well versed in reading schematics, motor controls, electrical and hydraulic repair
- Ability to perform occasional welding, plumbing, and fabrication
