About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist senior team members in managing client relationships
  • Review and process credit requests
  • Monitor existing transactions
  • Perform financial analysis and real estate due diligence
  • Conduct transaction underwriting and credit structuring
  • Complete portfolio management and market analysis
  • Create client-tailored marketing materials
  • Participate in client interface and deal-team activities
  • Develop knowledge of underwriting parameters and balance-sheet versus off-balance-sheet financing
  • Run internal modeling to determine risk ratings and return hurdles on loan approvals
  • Communicate with IREG teammates, internal product partners, borrowers, and prospects
  • Collaborate with Associates, Relationship Managers, and Senior Relationship Managers to build client relationships and provide financing solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong analytical, organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and strong work ethic
  • Work in the office most days is expected
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Preferred: degree or class work in finance, accounting, commercial real estate, or economics
  • Preferred: financial modeling coursework or experience
  • Preferred: relevant internship or prior work experience in commercial real estate or commercial banking
