About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the development, support, modernization, and governance of the LoanIQ application ecosystem
- Manage a portfolio of commercial lending technology solutions aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, operational excellence, and enterprise technology standards
- Lead cross-functional teams delivering solutions for loan origination, servicing, collateral management, payments, participation, syndications, and commercial lending operations
- Own delivery, support, and continuous improvement of the LoanIQ application portfolio, integrations, databases, and supporting platforms
- Translate Commercial Lending business requirements into technology solutions
- Lead modernization initiatives using .NET technologies, SQL Server, APIs, cloud services, and enterprise integration platforms
- Collaborate with architecture, product, analysis, project management, QA, infrastructure, and operations teams
- Manage application roadmaps, technical debt, platform upgrades, infrastructure changes, and regulatory initiatives
- Lead production incident response, root-cause analysis, and permanent issue resolution
- Lead multi-year LoanIQ modernization, integration, automation, and cloud transformation programs
- Manage third-party vendors and technology partners
- Ensure application releases are deployed successfully and transitioned into production support
- Build and mentor high-performing technology teams
- Communicate project status, risks, milestones, and recommendations to senior and executive leadership
- Drive Agile delivery, release governance, SDLC compliance, and continuous improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field OR equivalent experience (required)
- 5+ years of experience leading technical teams and managing technology initiatives
- Experience with LoanIQ or commercial lending platforms, or related technologies is highly desirable
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft .NET technologies, C#, ASP.NET, Web Services, REST APIs, and SQL Server
- Strong understanding of commercial lending processes, loan servicing, payments, collateral management, or syndicated lending is preferred
- Comfortable with agile software development methodologies and tools
- Google Cloud Certification plus
- Proven ability to interact effectively with business executives and technology leadership teams
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise application development, support, or technology delivery (preferred)
- Experience using Generative AI and AI-assisted tools to improve daily technology and business processes
- Familiarity with AI-assisted software development
- Extensive experience consulting on development and delivery of new or enhanced business applications
- Extensive experience with IT marketplace developments and trends
- Ability to build trusted relationships with business leaders, operations teams, and executive stakeholders
- Ability to influence decisions and gain alignment across multiple organizations
- Skilled at translating complex technical concepts into business-focused outcomes
- Strong analytical, root-cause analysis, decision-making, risk mitigation, organizational, prioritization, and team-building abilities
- Experience preparing business cases, ROI analysis, and value propositions for technology investments
- Experience using tools and toolkits for application development and support
- Experience defining, implementing, changing, and supporting production applications
- Working knowledge of inter-team collaboration, influencing tactics, team-building techniques, and decision-making processes
