About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive consumer household and checking portfolio growth
Mentor analysts while personally building campaign files, dashboards, and account and program valuations
Lead campaign strategy and audience design
Forecast checking and household growth
Forecast marketing spend for a multi-million-dollar annual budget
Conduct performance analytics connecting marketing spend to measurable outcomes
Build business cases for new products, services, capabilities, and marketing channels
Develop customer segmentation using data signals and customer research
Translate complex data into actionable insights
Proactively solve business problems using complex data
Leverage KeyCorp and line-of-business strategy, business, and competitive knowledge to make recommendations
Drive projects end to end, prioritize multiple projects, and manage tight deadlines
Review deliverables and coach others on approach and work product
Lead business partner interactions and provide recommendations aligned with business priorities
Communicate implications and impacts to teams and business partners
Address challenging situations and conflicts with managerial courage
Coach and guide team members and serve as a mentor
Manage integration of activities within the team
Perform other duties as assigned and comply with KeyBank policies and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Economics, Finance, Financial Mathematics, Statistics, or the Natural Sciences (required)
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree (required)
Ability to write queries or code, including complex joins
Experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data presentation
Ability to use business intelligence and data visualization tools
Experience with analytical programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or Java
Understanding of process flow and automation
Ability to work with big data
Ability to navigate data warehouses and/or data supply chains
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring ability
Ability to engage and partner with mid- to senior-level leadership
Understanding of LOB and KeyCorp strategy, competition, and business operations
Critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and business strategy skills
Ability to comply with KeyBank policies, procedures, Code of Conduct, and ethical standards
Ability to meet general office physical demands, including prolonged sitting and frequent PC/laptop use
Ability to travel occasionally, including overnight stays
