About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary advisor for ultra-high-net-worth families with $25MM+ in investible assets
  • Develop and execute comprehensive, multi-generational wealth strategies
  • Collaborate with Family Office Directors, Investment Advisors, and Fiduciary Advisors to deliver holistic solutions
  • Maintain command of Key’s Family Wealth value proposition and family office capabilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external UHNW referrals
  • Source new relationships through Centers of Influence, professional networks, and strategic events
  • Drive revenue growth through new business acquisition and expansion of existing relationships
  • Lead onboarding for new families and deliver a seamless, personalized experience
  • Own the high-touch client experience
  • Develop and document tailored client strategies
  • Partner with the Family Office Director to ensure service excellence and continuity
  • Engage and retain next-generation family members
  • Comply with KeyBank policies and procedures and act in clients’ best interests
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or related field (preferred)
  • Master’s Degree (preferred)
  • Equivalent experience (required)
  • 10 years of advisory experience with UHNW individuals, families, or family offices (required)
  • Demonstrated success in new business development within the UHNW market
  • Deep knowledge of tax, investment, estate planning, and philanthropic strategies
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills across diverse client profiles
  • Recognized as a trusted advisor with discretion, integrity, and strategic insight
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and financial planning software
  • Experience as an industry speaker on wealth management topics
  • Subject-matter expertise shared with internal teams or external industry groups
  • Ability to routinely and frequently operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license
  • Occasional travel, including overnight stays

  • Base salary range of $165,000.00–$345,000.00 annually
  • Eligibility for incentive compensation, which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives
