Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and deliver scalable full-stack solutions across web, API, and microservice architectures
Build modern user experiences using Angular and TypeScript
Develop and maintain cloud-native services using Java and Spring Boot
Partner with Product, UX, and Architecture teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Define API standards and integration patterns using OpenAPI/Swagger
Deploy and support applications running in Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes
Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines
Implement deployment strategies that minimize downtime and support high availability
Champion infrastructure automation, monitoring, and operational excellence
Design solutions emphasizing performance, reliability, and fault tolerance
Leverage Redis and Kafka for high-volume, distributed workloads
Modernize integrations with enterprise systems and core banking platforms
Promote observability and proactive issue detection
Lead architectural discussions and technical design reviews
Mentor engineers through coaching, code reviews, and knowledge sharing
Establish engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and development best practices
Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, including AI-assisted development tools
Partner with security teams to address vulnerabilities and maintain compliance standards
Implement modern authentication and authorization patterns
Ensure applications adhere to enterprise security, privacy, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
7+ years of professional software engineering experience
3+ years in a senior engineer, technical lead, or architecture-focused role
Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot and Spring ecosystem, REST API development and microservices, Angular, and TypeScript
Experience building scalable, enterprise-grade web applications and distributed systems
Strong understanding of software design patterns, testing, and code quality practices
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience deploying and supporting solutions in a public cloud environment; GCP preferred
Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Strong understanding of source control and collaborative development practices using Git
Experience designing scalable, resilient applications
Ability to lead technical discussions and influence architectural direction
Strong communication and mentoring skills
Experience working in Agile product development environments
Experience using modern AI developer tools such as GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar solutions
Ability to evaluate, validate, and secure AI-generated code

Base salary range of $96,000.00–$181,000.00 annually
Eligibility for incentive compensation, which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives
