About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the enterprise AI Risk Management Governance program
- Execute and enhance KeyBank's AI risk management framework, risk assessment processes, governance controls, and regulatory oversight activities
- Coordinate across business lines, technology, model risk, compliance, legal, information security, third-party risk management, and operational risk functions
- Lead end-to-end AI risk assessments and deployment readiness reviews
- Maintain governance records, reporting, ongoing monitoring, reassessments, remediation actions, and risk decisions
- Own business requirements and enhancements for AI risk management workflows within an enterprise GRC platform
- Partner with technology teams to design workflows, scoring, reporting, evidence management, and automation capabilities
- Lead testing, validation, implementation, and production readiness for the AI risk workflow
- Implement a recognized financial services AI risk management framework and align it to enterprise processes
- Coordinate control mapping, gap assessments, ownership, remediation, and evidence standards
- Translate framework requirements into policies, procedures, controls, implementation plans, and leadership reporting
- Guide AI-enabled governance, risk assessment, and workflow automation initiatives
- Establish governance requirements, decision gates, human oversight, testing, and monitoring for agentic AI solutions
- Advance AI governance strategy, operating model, policies, standards, and accountability structures
- Develop metrics, risk indicators, dashboards, inventory controls, and management reporting
- Serve as primary liaison across risk disciplines and first-line business partners
- Facilitate working groups, governance forums, and operating committee meetings
- Build relationships with senior leaders across Risk Management, Technology, Compliance, Legal, and business functions
- Drive accountability for risk remediation and control implementation activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience, skills, and qualifications sufficient to perform AI risk management governance responsibilities (specific minimum requirements are not stated)
- Ability to lead end-to-end AI risk assessments, including inherent and residual risk evaluation, independent review and challenge, and deployment readiness
- Ability to coordinate across business, technology, model risk, compliance, legal, privacy, cybersecurity, third-party risk, and operational risk functions
- Knowledge of AI risk management frameworks, governance controls, regulatory oversight, policies, standards, and procedures
- Ability to design and enhance enterprise GRC workflows, including scoring, reporting, evidence management, and automation
- Ability to lead testing, validation, implementation, and production readiness activities
- Ability to establish governance requirements, decision gates, human oversight, testing, and monitoring for agentic AI solutions
- Ability to develop metrics, risk indicators, dashboards, inventory controls, and management reporting
