About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead small- and mid-size projects or phases of larger projects affecting lines of business and/or functional areas
- Take projects from planning through final implementation using project, change, and risk management methodologies
- Define project scope, scope changes, objectives, requirements, deliverables, and value proposition with business leaders and stakeholders
- Develop integrated project plans, manage dependencies and critical paths, and track and report checkpoints and status
- Address potential impacts to external client experience in project solutions and plans
- Coordinate waterfall, agile, and other project delivery approaches
- Lead communication planning, execution, and reporting; liaise with key stakeholders
- Develop, design, and implement change management plans, including communication and training
- Identify, track, escalate, and resolve issues and conflicts; perform impact analysis and prioritization
- Manage dependencies, monitor progress, and escalate risks with corrective or mitigating actions
- Perform project initiation activities and administer checkpoints to drive delivery and resolve bottlenecks
- Gather resource duration estimates and assess the need for additional staff and vendors
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Equivalent experience required
- 3+ years of relevant experience required
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred but not required
- Extensive experience with effective project management strategies and tactics
- Working knowledge of analysis techniques and tools
- Working knowledge of self-management practices and prioritization
- Working knowledge of organizational change management techniques
- Extensive experience with communication concepts, tools, and techniques
- Working knowledge of team-building techniques
- Working knowledge of leadership practices and processes
- Working knowledge of project planning, estimating, resourcing, and scheduling
- Working knowledge of project control and reporting
- Working knowledge of application delivery methodologies
- Working knowledge of collaborative techniques and approaches
- Ability to comply with KeyBank policies and procedures, act professionally and ethically, avoid conflicts of interest, and act in clients' and Key's best interests
