About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Independently deliver moderate to complex analyses and reports
Work with large datasets using Python, Hadoop, R, SQL, SAS, and Google Cloud to solve business problems
Analyze and resolve anomalies discovered through quantitative tools and techniques
Lead conversations with business partners and communicate key points to stakeholders
Develop and deliver presentations, tools, and visualizations that tell the right story
Identify and anticipate business needs and determine how to obtain information
Review junior staff work and provide input, direction, and mentorship
Manage integration and coordination of activities within the team
Document solutions and create procedures/processes for ongoing testing and validation
Collaborate with executive leadership across business units, technology, operations, and finance
Perform other duties as assigned and comply with KeyBank policies and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, MIS, analytics/data science, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience (required)
5+ years of relevant financial services experience (required)
Experience in banking industry with a strong understanding of key drivers of financial results (preferred)
Advanced skills in SQL, Python, R, Cognos, SAS, Tableau, Excel, and Google Cloud
Expertise in designing and creating dashboards and reports for visual storytelling and strategic business decisions
Ability to access and interpret data from enterprise data warehouses and supply chains
Clear, persuasive stakeholder communication, including high-stakes or conflict-driven conversations
Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills; ability to consult with mid-level leaders and influence outcomes
Deep banking and financial insight
Structured thinking for complex problems, risk anticipation, trend identification, and solution vetting
Experience reviewing work, mentoring junior analysts, and contributing to a collaborative team environment
Ability to meet goals, maintain priorities, hold self and others accountable, and escalate challenges
Familiarity with Agile development practices
Valid driver's license and ability to occasionally operate a motor vehicle

Base salary range of $80,000.00–$150,000.00 annually
