About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead enterprise Financial Crimes Risk Management governance activities, including governance frameworks, standards, committee processes, and documentation
  • Manage a small team of FCRM professionals and fulfill management responsibilities
  • Facilitate bi-monthly AML Oversight Committee meetings and manage agendas, materials, timelines, and annual planning
  • Manage annual AML/CFT and OFAC training material reviews, assignments, approvals, and completion monitoring
  • Support development, delivery, and tracking of FCRM supplemental training
  • Monitor and report compliance training completion results weekly, quarterly, and ad hoc
  • Coordinate annual Financial Crimes Governance Policy and KeyCorp AML/OFAC Procedures reviews and updates
  • Identify and track policy, procedure, and training updates based on regulatory changes, new products, emerging risks, audit feedback, and process changes
  • Manage governance updates to line-of-business compliance procedures and maintain procedure inventories and documentation
  • Oversee FCRM Regulatory Change Management, including Regulatory Intelligence Items, quality control reviews, enforcement-action gap analyses, and partner guidance
  • Complete periodic design and operating assessments as FCRM Enterprise Team Control Procedure owner
  • Support governance reporting for regulators, the Board of Directors, and Compliance Risk Committee
  • Provide regulatory exam management support
  • Partner with business, risk, legal, learning and development, and first-line risk stakeholders
  • Perform complex compliance tasks and administrative coordination activities as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, financial crimes, or financial services
  • 3+ years of experience managing teams, leading risk management initiatives, or overseeing governance, policy, reporting, or regulatory engagement processes
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of BSA/AML/OFAC compliance program requirements, governance expectations, regulatory guidance, and risk-based compliance practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including group and executive presentations and meeting facilitation
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Effective time management
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills
  • PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, MS Teams, SharePoint, Archer GRC, and Outlook email
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and governance, risk, compliance, or reporting tools such as Archer GRC
  • Ability to build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders, exercise sound judgment, and operate effectively in a highly regulated environment
  • Relevant professional certification such as CFCS, CAMS, or CRCM preferred
  • Archer Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) expertise preferred
  • Project management experience preferred
