About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide excellent in-person client service by welcoming new and existing clients
  • Perform teller functions efficiently, effectively, and accurately in an in-person branch setting
  • Assist clients with account transactions and servicing needs
  • Identify and resolve client servicing issues, escalating as needed
  • Listen for financial wellness opportunities and transition clients to a Banker
  • Assist clients in achieving financial goals through financial wellness tools
  • Attend in-person morning huddles and end-of-day debriefs
  • Follow compliance, audit, and security procedures
  • Balance cash drawer within balancing guidelines
  • Maintain knowledge of product guides, fees, policies, and current offerings
  • Educate clients about access channels such as ATM, Online Banking, and Telephone Banking
  • Work on Saturdays as directed by management
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent business experience (required)
  • Experience in a client service role (required)
  • Experience in cash handling (required)
  • General understanding of PC with Windows based applications and calculator (required)
  • Ability to work Saturdays as directed by management
  • Ability to accurately and securely process cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and balancing cash drawers
  • Ability to identify and resolve client servicing issues efficiently
  • Understanding and following banking regulations and security procedures
  • Awareness of techniques to detect and prevent fraudulent activities
  • Ability to occasionally operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license
  • Notary License (preferred)
  • Prolonged standing for 5–8 hours per day; frequent hand use, face-to-face and telephone communication, occasional bending and lifting, frequent forward reach, frequent lifting of 1–10 lbs., and occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
